When I saw the Peruvian Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountain), I was sure that somewhere, someday, I would apply it to a painting.
A few years passed and I got a fervent request for a cathedral, any cathedral of mine, preferably one like I had already painted, but different, better, prettier.... I immediately thought of Vinicunca, although this time nature seemed too colorful and suspiciously bright.... As befits a cathedral with a mountain pedigree, there is also a mountain stream, and the portal of the cathedral has acquired the status of an overhang.
