Adolf Abram Milich (1884 - 1964)
In 1901-1902 he studied at the Warsaw School of Fine Arts, and then in 1903-1904 at the Munich Academy, where he was awarded a prize. From 1905 to 1915 he stayed in Italy and Switzerland. After 1920, the artist settled permanently in France. In 1922, he became a member of the Professional Union of Polish Painters and Sculptors in Paris. He participated in many group and solo exhibitions in Paris, Lyon, Zurich, Geneva, Basel, Lucerne, Lugano, Bern, Haifa and Jerusalem.
The artist was far from contemporary trends, and sought his own means of expression. His landscapes and still lifes are distinguished by their southern color intensity. His painting is unified and full of joie de vivre.
