Jan Grubinski (Warsaw 1874 - Rabka Zdroj 1945) - painter, known as a creator of nostalgic, atmospheric, landscapes - was a student of Jacek Malczewski at the School of Fine Arts in Cracow in 1896-1897. He continued his studies in Paris under Raphael Collin. After returning to Poland, he settled in Warsaw. He was a member of the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts, where he exhibited in 1899, 1900, 1925-1927, 1933.
