For more than a dozen years, Karol Bąk painted several hundred oil paintings, which constitute the largest part of his artistic output. In addition to them, he also created prints, ink drawings, pastel portraits, pencil sketches, and wall frescoes. His most popular series of paintings include Sailboats, Dialogues, Cocoons, Halos, Four Elements, Judith and Salome, Prima Mobilia, and Nocturnes inspired by the music of Frederic Chopin, on the occasion of the Chopin Year 2010.
The artist has had more than a dozen solo exhibitions since 1988 and participated in dozens of group exhibitions. Among the latter are Polish Surrealists (Warsaw 2008), ART.-EXPO (New York, Las Vegas 2008), Primavera (Rotterdam, Netherlands 2008 and 2009), Charm of Women.
