Artur Szolc was born in Warsaw in 1973. He is a multidirectional artist: musician, painter, cartoonist, caricaturist, tattoo artist and author of poems for children. He took up painting seriously in 2018. Years of experience acquired over 20 years in the art of tattooing helped. His painting oscillates in dark visions on the border of life and death warmed by a wide range of colors fueled by light contrasts. Among his favorite painters, Arthur lists Salvador Dali, H.R. Giger, Zdzislaw Beksinski and Arnold Bocklin or Hieronymus Bosch. The artist prefers acrylic painting, but there are also oil and pastel works. He also creates prints and caricatures.
