The teapot, creamer and sugar bowl were made in the company of the well-known Viennese silversmith, Alexander Sturm (b. 1851 in Vienna), who started his business in 1882 and ran his own store from 1883. His clientele was the Viennese bourgeoisie. After World War II, Alexander's company was reactivated by Adalbert Sturm.
The tray was made by Daniel Lowy, a goldsmith and jeweler, active between 1878 and 1909.
